This project focuses on the experiences and travels of "Mickey the Exploring Moose".   Our class wanted to learn more about other Grade One classes; since we couldn't go and visit them ourselves, we created a "kit" that is being sent throughout our School Division (Prairie Land Regional Division #25) and then around the Province of Alberta.  

The kit contains an ABC Book About Our School, a Letter of Introduction from our class, a list of instructions to help other classes assist in the project, a Map of our School Division, and a Map of Alberta.  Participating schools are asked to respond to our letter, place a sticker on each map to show their location, and send a short e-mail to let us know that Mickey is safe and sound.
