Mrs. Vanderkolk's Project Room

     Welcome to our Classroom!

The Junior/Senior High Project Room at Delia School is a place where students have access to various forms of technology to better enable them to make meaning of what they are learning.  Use of the equipment in the Project Room also allows the students to demonstrate what they have learned in a variety of ways in addition to the traditional paper and pencil tests.

I believe that all children do not learn in the same way, so in order to reach all children, I have incorporated several different techniques. In the Project Room, students learn Social Studies through the use of pedagogical techniques such as Cooperative Learning, Authentic Assessment Practices, Multiple Intelligences Theory, Differentiated Instruction, Constructivist Learning as well as the traditional classroom instruction. more
