Project
Since
1867, when Canada became a nation, our country has taken steps toward complete
sovereignty, and toward establishing a place among world nations.
In this activity, you will review some of the key events that led Canada
in these directions.
The
Task:
Individually
create, using Hyperstudio, a presentation displaying a timeline of Canada’s
development toward complete sovereignty.
The
Procedure/ Timeline:

Choose
10 – 12 events from the list provided.
Choose the events that you feel contributed the MOST to the
development of Canada’s sovereignty.

Create
a storyboard displaying your slides.
Refer to the following format for your slide templates:

your storyboard in to the teacher for review by the end of class on October
17th.

Begin
compiling your stack of slides.
Remember to refer to the format outlined above. Use the links
provided at Resources.

When
the stack is completed, use the self-assessment scoring criteria to assess
your achievement.
Presentation and Evaluation:

Your
Hyperstudio stacks will be presented to the class on October 25th.
Self-assessments are also due at that time;
peer assessments will be completed and
collected following each presentation.

You
will write the exam for Theme I (Sovereignty) on Monday, October 28th.
